The MBA distance learning programme in Innovation Management programme is designed for professionals aiming to drive change and growth in their organisations through systematic innovation strategies. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical methods and tools to empower students to successfully lead innovation processes and develop new business models.

- Innovation Management in Companies: process design, business model innovation, open innovation approaches, frugal innovation, and intellectual property management

Course organisation
The programme is divided into four semesters:
- Semesters 1 & 2: Business fundamentals, including management frameworks, financial and quantitative methods, marketing, communication, and leadership
- Semester 3: Specialised modules on innovation management, leadership in innovation-friendly cultures, and systematic innovation methods
- Semester 4: Master’s thesis, accompanied by participation in an international seminar and presentation of research outcomes
The structure and teaching methods follow a hybrid and blended learning approach, combining self-study, online/face-to-face teaching on three to four weekends per semester. In small groups, the learning content can be deepened.
- Self-directed study with comprehensive learning materials (learning letters) designed for independent and flexible learning
- Online courses and digital learning platforms, allowing students to study from anywhere and at their own pace
- Intensive use of applied teaching methods such as simulations, group projects, and presentations to prepare students for real-world challenges
- The types of assessment are written examinations, seminar papers, project presentations, Master's thesis, and colloquium.
