Our voices
The Furtwangen MBA has really helped me position myself in the marketplace. I like the fact that it conferred a generalist qualification and that we were a small group in which students got to learn from one another. The MBA experience is about what other people bring into the classroom environment. I believe that the MBA degree opens up a world of opportunity, and the programme really provided me with a world view of business.

Location
HFU Business School is situated in Schwenningen, a district of Villingen-Schwenningen. In 1972, the town as it exists today was formed through the merger of the two formerly independent towns of Villingen and Schwenningen. Schwenningen was once the thriving centre of the German clock industry, home to the headquarters of many renowned manufacturers. The world-famous clock and watchmakers Kienzle and Junghans both originated here. Interestingly, Furtwangen University is actually housed in a former clock factory!
Villingen-Schwenningen has a vibrant town centre with shops, cafés, and restaurants set within an attractive pedestrian zone, and it is now home to three universities. The town is situated in beautiful surroundings – a region offering more leisure activities than your schedule will likely allow!
