Description
This research-intensive Master’s programme is designed for students deeply interested in the life sciences and enthusiastic about using quantitative and computational approaches to explore biological questions. It prepares graduates for careers in academic research, industry, or data-centric roles within the broader life science sector.
The MSc in Quantitative Life Sciences merges advanced experimental research at the intersection of life sciences and chemistry with modern computational techniques and digital innovation.
Offering a distinctive combination of biosciences, chemistry, and data science, the programme responds to the growing influence of AI and big data in biological research. Students benefit from personalised mentorship, early involvement in laboratory rotations, and access to real-world research environments. Collaborating with experienced researchers and contributing to publishable projects allows students to shape a strong and individual research identity.
With a multidisciplinary faculty and a curriculum that also includes transferable skills in areas such as science communication and research commercialisation, this programme prepares graduates to excel in both academic and industrial leadership roles.
