Description
Digital transformation touches almost every area of an organisation. Therefore, students can be employed in a variety of roles after graduation. The programme aims to impart application-oriented knowledge relating to the digital transformation of business processes in conjunction with technical implementation.
Graduates will be able to coordinate digital transformation in companies and act as an interface between IT and other business areas such as production, marketing or purchasing. Specialist knowledge in the areas of information technology, engineering and business management is taught in an application-oriented manner in the context of digitalisation and applied practically by the students.
Companies in Germany currently need more than one hundred thousand employees (according to various studies). The demand for qualified employees in the field of digitalisation is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years, such that in just a few years, more than four times as many positions will need to be filled as there are today. Digitalisation affects all industries and sectors and is one of the central issues of the future. By choosing this degree, you will become a sought-after specialist and be able to pursue the role that best suits you in the future.
Perspectives after Graduation
To remain competitive, global manufacturing companies must meet the challenges of digitalisation. The successful transfer of previous economic and technical processes to digital processes requires the know-how of specialists. The bbw University has developed the Business Engineering in Digital Transformation Master's programme in order to provide companies with future specialists who are well prepared for global competition in the area of digitalisation of business processes. The broad spectrum of the course allows you to specialise in different areas of the company. Students are equipped with skills that are useful in both small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large corporations.
