International Business Administration – Healthcare Management (BA) SRH University

This programme is taught in English.

Companies face challenges due to digitisation, globalisation, and social change. Study International Business Administration with us and prepare yourself competently for your future tasks with a focus on skills.

You will acquire profound knowledge of economic relationships and learn to develop solution-oriented, efficient strategies for global companies. The International Business Administration programme offers a holistic management education and supports the development of your soft skills. You will learn together with students from diverse cultures and countries, contributing to strengthening your international profile.

You can choose between the following:

• the six-semester fast track or
• the seven-semester, international experience track that includes a study abroad or internship abroad semester.

• Intake: April & October

Choose between the following tracks:

• International Experience Track | duration: three and a half years / seven semesters, six-month internship / semester abroad included, April and October intake
• Fast Track | duration: three years / six semesters, April and October intake

There is no deadline for enrolment. You can apply whenever you want. However, for a smooth process, we highly recommend applying as soon as possible.

Important information: Please verify the specific visa deadlines for your country for beginning studies in Germany. You will only be able to enrol at the university if you have a visa valid for study in Germany. Please contact the German embassy in your home country to obtain the specific deadlines.

Seven-semester option

• Non-EU/EEA: 5,100 EUR per semester
• EU/EEA (including Switzerland, Western Balkans, and Ukraine): 750 EUR per month

Six-semester option

• Non-EU/EEA: 5,500 EUR per semester
• EU/EEA (including Switzerland, Western Balkans, and Ukraine): 840 EUR per month

Tuition fees remain the same for the entire duration of the programme.

Internship in the final semester (six-semester fast track) or six-month internship (seven-semester international experience track)

• One of the following qualifications: general university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification, North Rhine-Westphalia extended university entrance qualification or for international applicants: university entrance qualification or equivalent
• CV

• Health insurance certificate
• Certification of proficiency in English (see details below)

Important information: Do you not qualify? No problem; SRH has its International College for students who do not qualify for direct entry into our programmes or need to bring up their English language level. You can choose from our Foundation programmes at the College. This is a direct pathway into our university. 

Certification of proficiency in English, e.g. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL score of at least 600 (pbT) / 80 (ibT), Duolingo (Score of 110), or other verification (for instance, via an interview). This requirement is waived for students from countries where English is the official language of education.

There is a special scholarship available. The "Deutschlandstipendium" is a special scholarship programme supported by the German government and private companies. Find other scholarships that are relevant to your application here.

Working as a non-EU citizen: In possession of a valid German residence permit for study purposes, you are allowed to work for up to 120 full days (full day = eight hours per day) or 240 half days (half day = four hours) during the calendar year. However, freelance work is not permitted. Internships that are mandatory for the successful completion of your studies at SRH do not count towards the above-named 120 full days.

Employment that is considered “student part-time work” ("studentische Nebentätigkeit", e.g. employment as a student worker at a university or in a university-related organisation or "Werkstudent" activities at companies that are related to your studies) can be done without any time restrictions.
