As an industrial engineer, you will act at the interface between technology and business. Your degree programme will prepare you for this challenging task. You will acquire a broad understanding of both disciplines and learn to mediate between them. You will become an expert who optimises operational processes while keeping an eye on technical processes as well as productivity and economic efficiency.

In this degree programme, you will deal with mathematical and scientific fundamentals, acquire relevant management knowledge, and also benefit from our lectures in English. The components of our degree programme are engineering, economics, management, and targeted expert knowledge. For this knowledge, you can take one future-oriented specialisation*:

With our strong practical focus, we will prepare you for your professional life.

A variety of optional accompanying events will help you to further develop your skills in an application-oriented context. In our Smart Labs and mobile laboratory systems, you will experience possible applications of digital technology. Our simulated acquisition interviews reflect everyday working life.

Beginning

The programme can be started on the first day of each month. Since the lectures and examinations are repeated continuously, it is possible to start your studies at any time without any problems.

Duration

The duration depends on the programme, normally 30 ECTS will take one semester, which means if your programme is 180 ECTS, the standard duration of the programme will be six semesters. But it really depends on your individual study plan.

After the tuition fees have been paid, the study programme at SRH Distance Learning University (SRH DLU) can be extended up to twice the standard period of study free of charge. If you need more time to complete your degree after the double standard period of study has ended, we will charge a monthly administration fee.

Our programme is fully online. Once you enrol, you will get access to our E-Campus, where you can find all the information you need for your studies.
