Description
Are innovation and management, Industry X.0, the Internet of Things and digitalisation topics that interest you? Would you like to know how they are interrelated and how they can be applied in industry?
Is your answer "yes" to both questions? Then study Industrial Engineering at the OTH Amberg-Weiden!
The Bachelor's degree programme, aligning with the German qualification framework for industrial engineering, includes technical and business components as well as interdisciplinary modules.
The degree programme will qualify you globally as a sought-after, all-round talent for industry.

The management part concentrates on business management skills as they are used in the industrial sector, like business process management or marketing and sales. You will acquire valuable interdisciplinary language skills but also deal with overarching disciplines such as logistics or software development.
Commencing from the sixth semester, you can choose your own modules from a wide-ranging catalogue of elective courses and thus determine your own specialisation. Whether you want to dig deeper into management or you would prefer to become an automation expert, the choice is yours!
In the study programme, you will have a balance of engineering, management and interdisciplinary modules:

Academic admission requirements
Applicants from outside the European Union need to have their school leaving certificate, diploma or degree verified by an independent organisation (e.g. uni-assist) before applying to the university.
Only for Indian students: The APS certificate is mandatory before uni-assist will provide you with your "Vorprüfungsdokumentation/VPD".
More information on the general applications process can also be found here.
Basis admission requirements for the programme:
- University entrance qualification (evaluated and confirmed by uni-assist "VPD")
- English language skills at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
