Target group

The goal of the Master’s degree programme in Molecular Medicine is to equip graduates, on the basis of extensive interdisciplinary knowledge at the interface between the natural sciences and medicine, to formulate scientific research questions addressing complex biomedical problems and to tackle these largely independently as well as in interdisciplinary teams, to critically select subject-specific methods and to apply these methods largely independently, taking into account ethical principles and good scientific practice.
The Master’s degree course in Molecular Medicine aims to prepare graduates for a doctorate in biomedical research and to equip them to enter scientific and science-related professional fields of biomedicine at university hospitals, research institutes, in
the biomedical industry and in other scientific institutions.

Annotation

The degree programme is located at the interface between medicine and biology. The aim of the degree course is to train students to become qualified junior scientists for the biomedical field, where technological progress brings with it great challenges.

Admission requirements

First professionally qualifying degree, i.e. certificate of academic degree in Molecular Medicine, Biomedicine, Experimental Medicine or a related subject worth at least 180 CP with an average grade of at least "good" (2.5).
Proof of course-specific aptitude, provided by a successfully completed aptitude procedure.
