Target group
This degree course is aimed at students who wish to specialise in the biology of organisms with a focus on nature conservation, experimental and field ecology as well as evolution. The degree course is oriented towards both research and applied science, so that you can qualify both for consecutive doctoral studies in these fields and for work in state administration or non-governmental organisations active in the field of ecology/nature conservation.
Annotation
The programme is taught in English. Modules and courses that are taken as part of a stay abroad at one of the University of Regensburg’s partner universities can be recognised in the Master EEC.

Admission requirements
First professionally qualifying degree, certificate of academic degree or equivalent academic degree with a standard period of study of at least six semesters (180 CP) in a Bachelor’s degree programme in Biology, Ecology or Biodiversity or a related subject in Geosciences, Environmental Sciences or Life Sciences with a focus on Ecology, Nature Conservation or Evolution (e.g. Geobotany, Evolutionary Biology, Animal Biology, Biogeography); Proof of course-specific aptitude; This is provided by a successfully completed aptitude procedure
