Annotation
The degree programme is located at the interface between medicine and biology. Specifically, students acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in the natural sciences and in medicine. The focus is on the fields of cancer research and immunology. Graduates can work in industrial and academic research institutions in the biomedical field.

Admission requirements
1. First professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree or equivalent academic degree with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters (180 CP) or comparable scope of study in the field of Natural and Life Sciences, with recognisable skills in the field of immunology and the fundamentals of cell biology, biochemistry and biology, with an average grade of good (2.00) or better; For foreign degrees, the conversion is based on the modified Bavarian formula, 2. Proof of course-specific aptitude by a successfully completed aptitude procedure. 3. Knowledge of the English language at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); this level can alternatively be demonstrated by an equivalent TOEFL test (with 80 points) or other equivalent proof (e.g. first degree in a degree course taught in English).
