The University of Heidelberg has 2 faculties, i.e. 2 different locations with different teaching concepts (Heidelberg Curriculum Medicinale HeiCuMed and Mannheim Reform Curriculum Medicine MaReCuM). Students choose whether they wish to study in Heidelberg or Mannheim at the application stage, since it is generally not possible to switch between programmes due to pronounced differences, or only with a longer duration of studies.
