The programme begins on 1 September. It is a full-time programme taught at our campus in Vallendar.
There are two available tracks for the Master in Entrepreneurship Programme: 90 credits (17 months) or 120 credits (21 months).
90 credit track (17 months): This is an accelerated path featuring a one-week international capstone module – perfect for those eager to fast-track their careers. It is open to students who have completed at least three months of study or work experience outside of Germany as well as a Bachelor’s degree comprising at least 210 ECTS credits. In individual cases, students with fewer than 210 ECTS credits from their Bachelor’s degree may also be admitted to this track, provided they meet all other admission requirements.
120 credit track (21 months): This includes a semester abroad at one of our partner universities worldwide – ideal for students seeking a broader international academic experience.

Course organisation
We offer two tracks: 90 ECTS (three semesters) or 120 ECTS (four semesters).
The programme starts at the beginning of September each year. The first two semesters of the programme take place at the WHU campus in Vallendar. The core modules impart essential elements and fundamentals for entrepreneurship and innovation. They are Advanced Entrepreneurial Finance, Building and Scaling Successful Companies, Financial Accounting for Entrepreneurs, Legal Bootcamp, Sprint2Berlin, and Entrepreneurship through Acquisition and Search Funds. On top of this, we offer elective courses such as Actionable Customer Analytics, Sustainable Operations Management, Data Driven Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital Finance, and B2B Pricing: Negotiation, Calculation, Strategy.
After your first two semesters at WHU, you will do a mandatory internship over the summer. Students in the 90 ECTS track will complete their capstone module abroad before the summer, and they will begin working on their Master's theses after the summer internship in the third semester. Students in 120 ECTS track will complete a semester abroad at one of our partner universities around the world, and they will then begin working on their Master's theses afterwards in the fourth semester.

Academic admission requirements
For the Master's in Entrepreneurship, applicants should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with no more than four years of postgraduate work experience. Applicants should show personal commitment, be passionate about collaboration, and possess excellent English language skills.
Our admission requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field of study or demonstration of an appropriate background in an entrepreneurship-related area, e.g. through elective courses, thesis, or practical exposure
- Applicants must hand in a 10-slide pitch deck about a business idea.
- Practical experience – minimum of 12 weeks of internship(s) or equivalent; 20 weeks recommended, and no more than four years of postgraduate work experience
- International experience (recommended)

If your application passes the first part of our selection process, you will be invited to the video-recorded interview round via Kira Talent. Kira Talent is an online video interview platform that enables the candidates to record themselves answering our interview questions.
As the last step in the application process, you will be invited to a personal interview online.
Language requirements
As the teaching language is English, applicants have to provide proof of their English skills.
WHU accepts the following tests and results:
- TOEFL iBT test with an overall score of at least 100 (WHU Code: 0682)
- IELTS (academic) with an overall score of at least 7.0
- We also accept the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition that you can take online.
Exceptions are made for native English speakers or applicants who have earned a first academic degree from a programme taught entirely in English.

Vallendar and the surrounding area offer excellent accommodation opportunities, ranging from private apartments to halls of residence, right up to "last-minute beds". Rent varies from 250 to 600 EUR, including heating.

Location
WHU's study programmes are offered on two campuses, one in Vallendar and one in Düsseldorf. The Master's in Entrepreneurship is offered at our Vallendar campus.
