The MSc Innovation, Business and Sustainability (MIBAS) at Universität Hamburg is a unique international Master’s programme that prepares you to become a leader in sustainable and responsible management at Germany's university ranked number one for sustainability (QS). Over the course of two years, the programme spans the ethical, environmental, social and political aspects of society and business today, providing a launching pad for a career at the forefront of innovative and sustainable business – or in academia.
With MIBAS, you’ll learn how to channel your passion for sustainable business into creating value for companies and society. Expect to:

Course organisation
The programme includes a wide range of core courses and electives.
The first semester is devoted to covering basic theoretical knowledge in business management and research methodology. The second and third semesters offer advanced courses in innovation, sustainability and knowledge exchange in management, sustainability in management and sustainable finance and accounting. The last semester is devoted to your Master's thesis.

Universität Hamburg charges no tuition fees. A so-called semester contribution of about 340 EUR is charged each semester, including a public transport pass.

Funding opportunities within the institution
International students at Universität Hamburg can apply for a merit scholarship during their studies and a degree completion grant during the final study phase. The federal state of Hamburg provides most of the funding for these scholarships and grants. There is no legal entitlement to funding.
