Course organisation
Students study together in the winter semester in Hamburg and in the summer semester either in Hamburg or at one of the European partner universities. In the first semester, the introductory module and three compulsory modules from the areas of public international law and human rights, EU law and European business law are taught. In the second semester, specialisation modules are offered at Universität Hamburg and at several European partner universities in the areas of international human rights law, EU law, European and international business law. Courses are taught by a “Flying Faculty” from the partner universities.

Academic admission requirements
Applicants must have a first qualifying degree from a higher education institution in the field of law amounting to 240 credit points (LP).
Language requirements
Applicants must be proficient in English. This can be demonstrated by being a native English speaker, having completed undergraduate studies in English, or by holding a valid TOEFL with a minimum score of 90 or IELTS 6.5. Equivalent evidence may be accepted on a case-by-case basis with special justification.
