The standard period of study for the full-time programme is two years, including the internship and the Master's thesis. It is divided into four semesters. The part-time Master's degree programme can be completed in three years, i.e. six semesters.

The course content is taught in 12 modules: on site in Bonn (20%) and online (80%). Written study papers or project work must be completed to successfully pass six modules. There is also an oral or written examination in six of the twelve modules. A compulsory internship is completed to consolidate the acquired knowledge and put it into practice. The Master's thesis concludes the programme.

The language of instruction and examination is English.

As the practical part of the degree programme, there is a compulsory internship in the field of "Drug Regulatory Affairs" that can be completed worldwide.

• A professionally qualifying university degree is required (pharmacy, biology, medicine, life science or similar). The examination board decides on the recognition of other relevant degrees.
