Course organisation
Innovative teaching formats enable a multidisciplinary view of societal transformation processes and focus on the interactions of technological progress and political challenges. A flexible range of elective modules from the entire catalogue of the TUM also allows students to develop their own individual profiles. Depending on their interests, students can focus on one of the fields "Data & Society", "Governance", "Political Economy" or "Sustainability" – or optionally, they can gain comprehensive insight into all areas.

Academic admission requirements
A qualifying Bachelor's degree of at least six semesters or a minimum equivalent degree in:
- a political science study programme or
- a comparable social science study programme or
- an engineering or natural science study programme
