Description
The "International Business & Finance" Master's programme is a full-time, global programme. It will inspire and challenge you over 18 months as you develop strategic, financial, business, and leadership capabilities. All lectures are taught in English, as a result the programme attracts students from all over the world. Due to its up-to-date programme design and its focus on international corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and international banking (including investment banking), as well as international management and corporate strategy theories, topics, and case studies, we have been faced with a massive growth of applications and students in the programme.
Thus, we can position our IBF Master's programme as one of the best international university programmes of its kind.
According to our "classroom theory matches the corporate world" concept, lectures will be framed by presentations, research projects, a Master's thesis, company visits, and discussions with blue chip corporations, investment banks, M&A advisers, and strategy consultancies.

Location
The city of Augsburg is situated in Bavaria, the southern part of Germany, next to Munich. Augsburg is not only the third largest city in Bavaria, but also the second oldest in Germany. Founded by the Romans more than 2,000 years ago, Augsburg has had a great influence on European history – in the arts, in social and economic areas, and in technology. Famous personalities associated with Augsburg include the business magnate Jakob Fugger, the composer Leopold Mozart, the writer Bertold Brecht, and the engineer Rudolf Diesel, to name but a few. The history and development of Augsburg and its location in an attractive natural surroundings next to the Alps ensure that the city can offer a huge variety of cultural activities (museums, theatres, concerts, etc.), sports (canoeing, biking, hiking, etc.), economic challenges (technology, enterprises), and of course, a great education at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
For more detailed information about the city, please see http://www.augsburg.de.
