Description
The Computer Engineering for IoT Systems degree programme is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the integration of hardware and software systems to create interconnected networks of smart devices. These systems are designed to collect, process and exchange data to enable automated decision-making processes in various application areas such as smart homes, industrial automation, healthcare and more.
The programme combines the fundamentals of computer engineering with specialist knowledge in the field of IoT and enables students to master the challenges of developing secure, efficient and scalable IoT solutions.

Academic admission requirements
To be admitted to the degree programme, applicants must provide:
- a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a comparable subject with a minimum grade of 2.5 (according to the German grading system),
- proof of English language proficiency at level B2 (see below), and
- an APS certificate is required for applicants from India, China, or Vietnam.
