Description
Would you like to expand your skills in the area of Global Business Development? Would you like to gain deeper insight into global expansion strategies, international market management, and product development? Would you like to prepare to take on a leadership role?
The Global Business Development Master of Arts (MA) accredited Master's programme offers a range of modules with a strong focus on new markets and business development in an international context. In a rapidly changing business environment, competencies to understand major trends like digitalisation, globalisation, and sustainability are crucial.
The curriculum covers managing creativity, managing innovation, working in international (virtual) teams, analysing business models, developing business ideas, and coping with challenges such as climate change, for example via applying circular economy models. For more than ten years, we have been cooperating closely with dedicated international partners.
The curriculum is taught completely in English and has a duration of three semesters; it covers 90 ECTS. The first two semesters are dedicated to lectures, seminars, and projects, whereas the third semester is for writing the thesis (in most cases in cooperation with a company).
International students are especially welcome in our Master's programme and should feel encouraged to apply.
As a graduate of our Global Business Development Master's programme, you will be prepared for leadership positions at international companies and can focus on identifying new business opportunities and defining strategic approaches to new markets.

Course organisation
The Global Business Development Master's programme takes three semesters. It consists of two semesters of lectures and project-based learning and a third semester, which is primarily dedicated to completing your Master's thesis. The course of study is mostly application oriented and very focused on practice. The Master's thesis can be done at a company in cooperation with a professor from Kempten University of Applied Sciences.
Two major courses are international projects with excursions to Tenerife (Spain) and Lodz (Poland). One major course takes place in collaboration with our partner universities in Lapland (Finland) and Northern Ireland (UK).
