Description
The three-semester Master’s degree programme in Translation, offered in the language combinations German-English or German-Chinese, provides in-depth further education in the fields of translation or multilingual communication. The goals of the Master's degree programme are based on the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) and cover the areas of language and culture, translation, technology, service competence as well as media and business. The EMT model stands for highly qualified translator training. You can also specialise in the fields of interpreting, technical translation, English or Russian. Or you can focus on the field of media translation (e.g. subtitling).
The course language is German, but some courses are taught in the first foreign language. In addition to the cross-language subjects, you can take one foreign language in combination with two compulsory elective subjects.
