Description

The Berlin Part-Time MBA programme offers you all the benefits of the Berlin MBA (Berlin School of Economics and Law) – but in a part-time format. You can remain dedicated to your career, truly enhancing it by studying for the MBA. You will be fully equipped for new career goals with an international perspective, all the while refining your individual strengths. Studying in the MBA programme at the Berlin Professional School offers you:

  • Blocks of attendance phases
  • Profound, wide-ranging, and practical knowledge of the fundamentals of management
  • Opportunities to focus on individual interests and needs via elective modules, to pursue your own desired career goals
  • Interactive teaching style
  • Highly dedicated professors with management experience
  • International accreditation
  • A dedicated Career Service and a strong network

The Berlin Part-Time MBA programme, taught in English, is the perfect combination of theory and practice. It will set you on the direct path to furthering your leadership skills. The core modules in the first study section lay the foundation of key management knowledge. All areas and exterior interfaces of a company are dissected, while training you to orientate your thinking around processes and solutions at all times. The elective modules of the second part of study programme give you the opportunity to apply yourself to specific tasks. Study trips in Europe or to the USA prepare you in a specific and practical manner for the field of international management. You will learn about the business frameworks, strategies and management tools of multinational corporations. In the Transformation Management and Change module, you will help a company to deal with change processes in a dynamic and agile manner or to actively initiate them, thus putting it ahead of the competition. The Digital Business and Technology Management module will present you with dynamically changing challenges and train your digital agility. In the Innovative Sustainability module, you will learn how to embed sustainability aspects in innovation projects at our partner university, Porto Business School. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation module familiarises you with the innovation process of start-ups and corporates. A core element of this module is a practice-based project with the Barton School of Business in Wichita, Kansas. Together with MBA students from the USA, you will work in teams on the development of real solutions for the internationalisation challenges of start-ups and SMEs.

From the teaching style to the lecturers, the MBA programme consistently focuses on practical, hands-on experience. Corporate projects, case studies, current living case studies, job-based project and group work, business simulations and presentations from corporate leaders of select enterprises all form integral course components.
