Description
The Master’s (MSc) programme centres on the major engineering issues of our time, such as the use of artificial intelligence and the development of the circular economy and smart technologies. During your studies, you will acquire not only the skills required to optimise processes, solve problems, and professionally represent international manufacturing and engineering companies, but also the knowledge needed to develop technical solutions to the economic, social, and environmental challenges of our global society.
In the Industrial Engineering and International Management Master’s study programme, you will acquire:
- diverse academic and specialist knowledge as well as an understanding of methodologies and practical skills used in a variety of areas of engineering and technology;
- a broad theoretical and practical understanding of selected areas of technology, science, and engineering;
- knowledge of the processes and challenges at the interface between business and engineering; and
- in-depth knowledge of the economic, financial, and social framework of the global market economy.

Bachelor's degree with 180 ECTS credits
In order to meet the requirements of the German Qualifications Framework for Industrial Engineering ("Qualifikationsrahmen Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen"), successful candidates must demonstrate the following minimum requirements from their Bachelor’s programme:
- 60 credit points in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- 10 credit points in their thesis or project
Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of their English skills through one of the following methods:
- TOEFL (minimum 80 points Internet-based)
- IELTS (minimum 6.5)
- minimum 60 ECTS from a Bachelor's programme conducted in English
- internal test administered by Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences

Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences is one of the oldest private universities in Germany.
