Students on the German Track attend compulsory German language courses.

In addition, our EBS Language Center offers a wide range of opportunities to broaden your language and intercultural horizons.

The study programme is divided into different units. The basic modules prepare you for your future project activities, and you develop your leadership skills systematically. In the elective modules, you will deal with the essential issues of executive management. Project work with real-life cases will allow you to consolidate your newly acquired expertise and grow as a leader.

With the Master in Management programme, all doors are open to you. Graduates take on leadership positions in a wide variety of areas: as a management consultant, business developer, successor in a family business, founder or business partner.

The programme comprises four semesters (120 ECTS) and can be started each year in the autumn semester or spring semester. The programme can be shortened to two semesters (accelerated track | 60 ECTS) with the appropriate qualifications. With an additional semester abroad (dual degree option), you have the opportunity to acquire a double degree.

The programme takes place entirely on site. Should the situation require it, the courses can also take place in hybrid form in individual cases.

EBS Universität conducts a holistic selection process. We assess your scores in the context of your overall profile, professional experience and background.

There are no application deadlines at EBS; however, early application is particularly recommended for international candidates and scholarship seekers.

Semester Abroad Track | Practice Track:

The programme comprises four semesters and concludes with a Master’s thesis – often in cooperation with a company. The last semester is reserved for your stay abroad at one of our more than 200 partner universities.

We have designed the EBS Master's programmes to be flexible, depending on your level of knowledge, skills and goals. Take the study path that best suits you and your circumstances:

Semester Abroad Track

The Semester Abroad Track comprises two semesters at EBS Universität and one semester at one of our 200 partner universities abroad and concludes with the thesis. 

Accelerated Track

If applicants meet the relevant requirements (Bachelor's degree with 240 ECTS) and have already gained experience abroad, they can shorten the Master's programme to two semesters. 

Practice Track

This track includes two semesters of study at EBS Universität, an intensive, long internship in the third semester and a final thesis. 

Dual Degree

Students can extend their study abroad at one of our partner universities by one semester and receive a double degree.

Semester Abroad Track (120 ECTS)

With the Semester Abroad Track, you gain experience abroad and prepare yourself for an international career. This track comprises the first two semesters at EBS, the third semester abroad at one of our 200 partner universities and concludes in the fourth semester with your thesis.

Practice Track (120 ECTS)

Have you already gained sufficient experience abroad? Then the Practice Track offers you the chance to focus on your practical experience. This track comprises the first two semesters at EBS, one semester for internships and one semester for your thesis. The long and intensive internships can be completed either in the third or fourth semester. The remaining semester is dedicated to your thesis, which may be assigned by a company.

Begin your application by submitting the following documents:

• A Bachelor’s degree and transcripts in any field of study with at least 180 ECTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
• English language certificate (details below)
• A valid GMAT (either classic or new Focus edition – scores will be based on GMAC's percentile tables), GRE, Business Admissions Test (BAT), EBSgrad Test, Common Admissions Test (CAT).

If your application documents meet our admission requirements, we will invite you to an individual interview. During this interview, we will assess your motivation and social skills. The decisive factors are your motivation to perform and learn, your social communication profile, your willingness to take on social responsibility and your initiative.
