By joining a select cohort of working professionals and future business leaders in an innovative hybrid format, you will experience transformational learning that will fast track your career progress. Exclusive features of this programme are two in-person business immersions – one in Silicon Valley (USA) and one in Germany – built around essential themes and challenges for today’s business.
This English-language MBA programme builds a solid foundation of scientific and applied knowledge, provides international orientation, offers unmatched networking and real-world exposure, along with an emphasis on ethics and sustainability in business. Learn from internationally renowned professors, managers, and business leaders from innovative firms, and become part of a programme where theory meets practice.
The Programme
This MBA programme emphasises “breadth” and “general management” and does not limit itself to a specific functional area of business administration. It is geared towards a holistic understanding of business administration with a goal of grooming high-potential candidates for top management and leadership positions in the future regardless of their current functional area.
A distinguishing feature of this MBA programme is the inclusion of two business immersions. The first one takes participants to Silicon Valley (USA) to visit cutting-edge companies of different sizes, industries, and life stages of digitisation. The second one within Germany gives students the opportunity to interact with innovative companies that have successfully achieved global expansion and growth.
Target Group
The MBA programme is designed for managers and working professionals (senior or junior managers) from all over the world, from all industries and organisations, as well as self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs who have a first university degree, at least two years of professional experience, and good English skills. A previous degree in business administration is not required.

Additional information on intake, duration and mode of study
The four-semester MBA for Working Professionals has an innovative hybrid format. Participants will be able to take advantage of four weekends of on-campus classroom instructions in Germany (Fridays & Saturdays) and four weekends of online lectures each semester (Fridays & Saturdays), providing maximum flexibility in their time schedules and allowing for an excellent work-life-study balance.
*Hybrid format:
Each semester consists of two parts. Each part consists of four weekends (two in-person lectures, two online lectures). Each weekend consists of two pairs of courses – one course on Friday, and the second course on Saturday. The first weekend takes place in presence at the WFI campus in Ingolstadt. The second and third weekends each take place online via Zoom. On the last weekend, the MBA students return to the WFI campus in Ingolstadt for their two lectures. On both in-person lecture weekends (first and fourth weekend), MBA students will benefit from exclusive MBA leadership and networking events on Friday evenings. Students will get the opportunity to learn from and network with renowned business executives from the industry. This concludes the first part. The programme further includes two in-person business immersions, one in Silicon Valley, USA, and one in Germany.
Each semester consists of eight weekends (four times on-site in person [first and fourth weekends] and four times online via Zoom [second and third weekends]).
