Description
This Bachelor's degree programme in Aviation Management is an educational offer for students who wish to combine a business management degree in English with a course that places strong emphasis on knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry. Students will receive a comprehensive basic education in general business management, and the main emphasis of the Bachelor's degree programme is on aviation business management.
Besides in-depth general management lectures, students take advanced business courses tailored specifically to the aviation industry, such as Airline Business Models and Strategies, Network Management and Scheduling, Airport Management, Air Cargo and Logistics Management, Flight Operations, Air Transportation Policy & Law and Aviation Analytics. Thanks to strong connections with top companies in various segments of the industry, the programme is constantly adapting to a rapidly evolving environment. For example, the relatively new field of travel technology, which is expected to become increasingly important in the future, is already integrated into the curriculum.
Furthermore, students have a unique opportunity to apply and develop their acquired skills and knowledge in the reality of day-to-day operations of an airline, airport or other aviation companies. Seminars and an aviation management simulation game round off the extended education that prepares students for the challenges of the aviation industry.
