Description
The Electrical Engineering and Information Technology programme combines a sound theoretical education with a high level of practical relevance. For internships and Bachelor's theses, THU partners with leading industrial companies. In order to further strengthen the practical relevance, THU offers a scholarship programme that excellent students may apply for at the end of the first year. Students entering the programme are financially supported by the companies, and they also gain continuous practical experience by working in the company in parallel to their studies.

Further details
Course organisation
This seven-semester programme consists of two semesters of basic studies (basics in mathematics, physics, computer science, and electrical engineering), four semesters with compulsory modules and some additional selectable modules, and an internship semester in industry. Practice-oriented labs with state-of-the-art measurement and lab equipment are integral parts of all study phases. Modules are supplemented by German as a compulsory language in order to facilitate integration, e.g. during the internship. Practical orientation is a key element in all of our study programmes. We believe that practice-oriented teaching with a strong lab component can offer foreign students a high level of added value. From the first semester on, teaching is based on most modern technology and equipment. After successful completion of this degree programme, you will be awarded the academic degree title of "Bachelor of Engineering".
