Our voices
Before moving to Germany, I felt nervous about how the university would be or if I would be able to use my knowledge to reach my goals. But this is the good thing about Technische Hochschule Mannheim: I share a small class with other new friends from different cultures, which allows the professors to really work with us individually so that we can come up with a solution to a problem together. This is helping me to develop myself professionally and personally for future employment opportunities.

- The best way to cover your living expenses is to use a blocked account. Non EU and EEA students will need a blocked account to apply for a visa anyway.
- If you need to earn money while studying, ensure that you know the relevant work regulations that match your visa title. Students are limited in terms of hours they can work per week.
- We do not encourage our international EEB students to work more than 10 hours per week.
- The EEB programme is very intense, especially in the first year, when we combine our technical lectures with intensive German language courses.
- We are unable to offer scholarships for first year international students.
