Further details

Course organisation

Mechanical engineers with good basic knowledge are needed in almost all areas of industry and the public sector. The degree programme is divided into four phases. In the first to third semesters, the basic subjects are studied after orientation. These are followed by the specialisation phase in the fourth and fifth semesters. In this phase, students can follow their inclinations and career expectations by choosing a specialisation. The sixth semester includes the practical phase / internship, in which students are introduced to the activities and working methods of engineers by means of specific tasks directly in companies. The degree programme concludes with the Bachelor's thesis, which is completed together with other courses in the seventh semester.
