A previous year at the German-Jordanian University (GJU) is offered to make it easier to get started.

Language requirements for enrolment in the pre-year at GJU:

• Demonstrating B2-level proficiency in the English language is mandatory through submission of the official IELTS certification.

Language requirements for enrolment at THWS (after the pre-year):

• Evidence of knowledge of English at level B2, e.g. valid TOEFL iBT® test result of at least 83 points (Internet-based), IELTS 6.0, etc.

• To ensure linguistic flexibility when communicating with other students and living in Germany, German language skills at level A2 are required. This must be proven by a corresponding certificate within 12 months after the start of the degree programme.
