The degree programme at the THWS combines solid basic knowledge with practical training. The content and structure of the degree programme enable students to quickly familiarise themselves with numerous existing and future areas of activity in the field of engineering. A previous year at the German-Jordanian University (GJU) is offered to make it easier to get started.

Language requirements for enrolment in the pre-year at GJU:
- Demonstrating B2-level proficiency in the English language is mandatory through submission of the official IELTS certification.
Language requirements for enrolment at THWS (after the pre-year):
- Evidence of knowledge of English at level B2, e.g. valid TOEFL iBT® test result of at least 83 points (Internet-based), IELTS 6.0, etc.
Language entrance requirements: Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (thws.de) - To ensure linguistic flexibility when communicating with other students and living in Germany, German language skills at level A2 are required. This must be proven by a corresponding certificate within 12 months after the start of the degree programme.
