Description

Companies face challenges due to digitisation, globalisation, and social change. Study International Business Administration with us and prepare yourself competently for your future tasks with a focus on skills.

You will acquire profound knowledge of economic relationships and learn to develop solution-oriented, efficient strategies for global companies. The International Business Administration programme offers a holistic management education and supports the development of your soft skills. You will learn together with students from diverse cultures and countries, contributing to strengthening your international profile.

You can choose between the following:

  • the six-semester fast track or
  • the seven-semester, international experience track that includes a study abroad or internship abroad semester.

Academic admission requirements

  • One of the following qualifications: general university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification, North Rhine-Westphalia extended university entrance qualification or for international applicants: university entrance qualification or equivalent

Important information: Do you not qualify? No problem; SRH has its International College for students who do not qualify for direct entry into our programmes or need to bring up their English language level. You can choose from our Foundation programmes at the College. This is a direct pathway into our university. 

Language requirements

Certification of proficiency in English, e.g. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL score of at least 600 (pbT) / 80 (ibT), Duolingo (Score of 110), or other verification (for instance, via an interview). This requirement is waived for students from countries where English is the official language of education.

Financing information

Funding opportunities within the institution

There is a special scholarship available. The "Deutschlandstipendium" is a special scholarship programme supported by the German government and private companies. Find other scholarships that are relevant to your application here.

Possibility of finding part-time employment

Working as a non-EU citizen: In possession of a valid German residence permit for study purposes, you are allowed to work for up to 120 full days (full day = eight hours per day) or 240 half days (half day = four hours) during the calendar year. However, freelance work is not permitted. Internships that are mandatory for the successful completion of your studies at SRH do not count towards the above-named 120 full days.

Employment that is considered “student part-time work” ("studentische Nebentätigkeit", e.g. employment as a student worker at a university or in a university-related organisation or "Werkstudent" activities at companies that are related to your studies) can be done without any time restrictions.
