Description

During your Bachelor's in Finance and Management, you will acquire the basics of business administration as well as specific knowledge of the global financial sector.

In the Bachelor's programme, you’ll build solid knowledge in key areas like corporate finance, financial management, and reporting. You will be taught to analyse complex business models and processes on the basis of numbers, making you a specialist in national and international companies. You will get to know financial products and learn how companies operate on the global capital market today. In your final two semesters, you’ll dive deeper into advanced topics such as controlling, consulting projects, mergers & acquisitions, and international financial management, including portfolio and asset management.

Depending on your strengths and interests, you will set your individual focus in the fifth and sixth semesters. A semester abroad at one of ISM's over 190 partner universities is integrated in your studies as well as 20 weeks of internships, as well as highly practical teaching by lecturers who are experts from the business and financial world.

This course is generally offered at our locations in Frankfurt/Main, Dortmund, Munich, Cologne and Berlin. Get more information from the website or contact a study advisor.

General services and support for international students and doctoral candidates

Buddy programme and coaching

International students can benefit from the start of their studies from the help of a fellow, older student, a so-called buddy, who will organise activities, answer questions, and meet with you throughout the semester. Also, study coaches will help guide students and ensure they have a great study experience.

Optional German language course prior to semester start

Students can take part in a three-week intensive German course prior to the beginning of each semester. There will be a course for beginners and, if there are enough interested students, we will also offer a course for advanced learners. In addition, optionally, we also try to offer three different language courses during the semester: Beginners + Intermediate + Advanced Business.
