If so, our Social Media Marketing & Management Bachelor's programme is exactly right for you!
Besides learning how to master online marketing and social media, you’ll also be trained in communicating in different languages and across different cultures. Fluency in English is required for this programme, enabling you to connect with individuals from around the world. You will also get the chance to spend one or two semesters abroad and gain international experience, which will enable you to develop valuable intercultural and social skills applicable to any industry.
This degree is designed for students who are interested in a career in online and/or social media marketing and management. It is suitable for students who have completed high school or equivalent, have a good command of English, and possess basic computer skills. No prior experience or knowledge of social media is required.
Social media marketing and management is a rapidly growing industry with many job vacancies. You will be able to work in different types of organisations including brands, agencies, non-profit organisations, or even your own freelance business. With your solid foundation in business, media, and AI tools, you will be able to pursue various career paths such as content creator, social media manager, social media strategist, or social media consultant, among others.

For studies commencing in the 2025/2026 winter semester, international tuition fees (§ 3 LHGebG) amount to 1,500 EUR.
Semester contribution
In addition to the tuition fees, students will also be asked to pay administrative fees and membership fees to the student union (if applicable). These fees are currently (winter semester 2025/2026) around 250 EUR per semester.
Costs of living
Monthly costs amount to about 350 EUR to 400 EUR for rent, plus further costs for groceries, stationary, travels, and other personal items and study materials.

Depending on the immigration status, students can work several hours per week during the semester time, and possibly even more during the semester break.

We strongly recommend that students consider applying to live in our university dormitories because it is a great way to integrate into student life in Stuttgart and will bring living expenses down to a more affordable level. A single room costs between between 300 EUR and 450 EUR per month, depending on the size and furnishings. Students can reserve bedding, blankets, and everything they need in advance.
