Description
The degree programme in Business Engineering Logistics provides you with all necessary skills to face future challenges such as digitalisation, sustainability, and internationalisation. Exciting course contents are:
- Economics (occupational science & work safety, quality, environmental & energy management, sustainability, human resources management & leadership)
- Informatics (database & big data, data analytics & basics of artificial intelligence)
- Logistics (logistics systems, material flow engineering, system planning & project management, warehouse management & simulation)
This will be completed by the specific content of your chosen specialisation in economics or engineering.
Specialisation
- Economics & Innovations: The specialisation in economics includes an insight into the areas of operations management, supply chain management and logistics controlling in the third and fourth semesters and the very practice-oriented course on innovation projects in the sixth semester.

Engineering & Artificial Intelligence: The specialisation in engineering offers interesting insights into automation and control engineering of the future in the third and fourth semesters as well as our cool AI lab in the sixth semester.

Language requirements
English language proficiency must be proven by the TOEFL test with at least 550 points (paper-based version) or 213 points (computer-based version) or 79 points (internet-based version), unless the student is a native speaker.
In particular, the following are recognised as equivalent:
- Cambridge Certificate (Certificate of Advanced English [CAE]) with a minimum grade of C (passed) or
- TOEIC test with at least 730 points or
- IELTS test level 6.0, Oxford Test of English with a total score of at least 120 and level B2 in all modules or
- a continuous stay of at least one year in an English-speaking country, proven by studies at an English-speaking university, employment references or similar certificates
German: At the time of application, there is no German language proficiency requirement. But students must provide a proof of their German language DSH-1 (or equivalent) level at the end of the fourth semester.
