Following up on the success story of the faculty in the diploma course Economics, which enabled for students a very individual focus within the course, you can choose your concentration in this specialisation.
- European Economics
In line with the success story of the Economics elective course "European Economics" as part of the diploma course in Economics, the Economics Institute has decided to intensify this area with the introduction of Master's degree programmes and to offer an attractive consolidation of European references in cooperation with other faculties of the University of Würzburg.
- Economic Policy
Following up on the success story of the diploma programme in Economics and the broad range of economics courses, the Institute of Economics offers an attractive focus on general economic policy.
- Industrial Journalism
The content of the specialisation Business Journalism is aimed at Bachelor graduates in economics who want to consolidate their acquired economic and economic policy knowledge and at the same time wish to acquire professional skills in business journalism.

Admission requirements
Admission to a Master's degree programme requires a Bachelor's or an equivalent academic degree (such as Diploma degree, State Examination). In addition, specific skills in areas relevant to the Master's must be demonstrated. The Master's programme in question also requires applicants to pass an aptitude test.
