Annotation
General information:
In the Master’s degree programme in Physics of Green Technologies, you will build upon the extensive analytical skills you already acquired in the preceding 8-semester Bachelor’s degree programme. You will independently carry out scientific research projects, learn to maintain a scientific perspective during planning and decision-making processes, and apply your subject expertise to the critical analysis of various solutions in the field of sustainability.
Similar to the 2-semester "MSc Physics", this continuing degree programme only includes research, working group and Master's theses, but these are centred in the areas of sustainable technologies, for example in the working groups "Solar Energy Conversion", "Sustainable Materials", "Structural Analysis" or " Semiconductor Photonics".
Research focuses:
The extensive independent research phase prepares you for independent and self-directed work as a physicist in business, industry, at scientific research institutes and in public administration, especially where interdisciplinary expertise is required, such as in consulting, planning or development roles as well as in professional fields where coordination between the various disciplines is necessary.
