Annotation

The Bachelor's degree course in Movement and Sport Science combines basic competencies from sports science theory fields with practical access to movement in the social field of movement, sport and physicality. These include approaches from social and cultural sciences, movement theories, pedagogy, didactics and practice of sports as well as knowledge and skills from medicine, training and health.
The course is divided into modules on sports science theory fields and movement practice. Basic modules are linked to the degree programme for the teaching qualification in sport. This is followed by theory- and research-oriented in-depth studies and career-oriented explorations and reflections, which culminate in study profiles according to the student's own interests. For this purpose, one of the focal points "Inclusion and Whole-Day Education", "Cultural Education" and "Medicine, Training and Health" can be chosen. A further focus can also be formed with the final bachelor's thesis. Furthermore, modules from other university programmes and exchange programmes with foreign universities enable an interdisciplinary and international orientation of the programme.

An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see www.uni-marburg.de/marskills).
