Annotation

Biosystem technology deals with the research and biotechnological / medical use of biological systems. In addition to modern molecular biological methods, the focus is on systems science and engineering tools such as mathematical modelling in order to better understand complex phenomena such as the regulation of metabolic pathways or the functioning of signal transmissions in cells. The knowledge gained opens up new possibilities in the many areas of modern medicine and biotechnological production. Increasing research and development activities in the highly interdisciplinary field of systems biology go hand-in-hand with an increasing need for highly qualified personnel who have knowledge and experience in the fields of biology and systems science and engineering and can combine these effectively.
