The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in a
degree programme in the field of German Studies or subject-related study programmes and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree amounting to 180 credits at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of academic achievements in the field of German Studies in the scope of at least 60 credit points and a final grade of "good" or better. Furthermore, language skills in at least two modern foreign languages are required.
International applicants must provide proof of German language proficiency at the level of the DSH examination (min. level 2), the TestDaF (TDN 4x4) or a recognised equivalent.
