In our interdisciplinary and research-oriented Master’s degree programme "Earth and Climate System Science", we deal with questions arising from the current climate crisis. We provide the skills and understanding to develop sustainable approaches to protecting our planet, applying, among other things, simulations with regional climate, agricultural and economic models and performing unique measurements in the field. The focus of our Master’s programme is on the fascinating interactions between the various components of the Earth system, including the atmosphere, soil and vegetation, which can amplify extreme weather events and change the regional climate.
