Annotation

The study of veterinary science is regulated and standardised nationwide. The objective of veterinary training is to develop theoretically and practically trained veterinarians, capable of independent veterinary practice in the context of Section 1 of the Federal Veterinary Practitioners Act (Bundes-Tierärzteordnung), further education and continuous training. The training should convey the fundamental veterinary, theoretical, interdisciplinary and methodological skills\; practical competences\; intellectual and ethical principles, and the obligatory professional attitude necessary for the well-being of people, animals and the environment.
