Primarily graduates with a Bachelor's degree awarded by the University Erfurt as well as graduates with a Bachelor's degree from other institutions of higher education with a subject combination relevant to the teaching qualification in special education
Admission requirements
- A relevant degree with a grade of 2.5 or higher and a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters; evidence must be provided that the applicant has studied Special Education (Therapeutic Education) with 2 subject areas relating to Special Education (Teaching People with Cognitive Impairments, Teaching People with Learning Difficulties, Teaching People with Emotional and Social Behavioural Disorders)
- Proof of basic subject knowledge for a primary school subject: German and Mathematics as well as another general educational school subject (main subject): German, English or Mathematics.
- Proof of school placement comprising a total of 6 credit points: A prepared school placement or a career-oriented school placement (in each case related to special education) as well as one interdisciplinary education foundation module incl. placement
