For future teachers at mainstream schools (Intermediate Schools and German Lower Secondary Schools,\; If training is desired for a teaching profession (Teaching Qualification Type 3), the subject-related basic knowledge is acquired here for the teaching subject of History with the obligatory area of specialisation of European History.
A second Bachelor’s discipline must be studied that is relevant to the above mentioned Teaching Qualification\; The following is compulsory:
English/American Studies (teaching subject: English) or German Language and Literature (teaching subject: German) or Art (teaching subject: Art Education) or Mathematics (teaching subject: Mathematics) or Music (teaching subject: Music) or Romance Studies (teaching subject: French) or Slavic Studies (teaching subject: Russian) or Sport and Movement Education (teaching subject: Sport) or Technology (teaching subject: Economics/Technology), with Technology having to be selected as the main course.
