Target group

Graduates of the Master’s degree course in Medical Physics with an interest in using their mathematical and scientific expertise and their basic medical knowledge to solve tasks and problems in the interdisciplinary subject of Medical Physics using scientific methods, to analyse new scientific findings, to critically evaluate them, and to apply them in professional practice.
They will have the ability to carry out scientific work creatively, independently and autonomously.

Annotation

The Master’s degree course in Medicinal Physics can be studied in either German or English.

For the German-language version: proof of sufficient command of English at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
For the English-language version: proof of sufficient command of English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Admission requirements

Completed Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Medical Physics or a comparable subject area with an overall grade of at least "satisfactory" (2.7 at least 70 percentage points) or a passed LSE Department aptitude test for the Master’s degree programme in Medical Physics from the summer semester 2025 or earlier.
