Annotation
The main task of a social worker is to support and help people in special circumstances. The dual B.A. degree course in Social Work gives you all the social science basics you need for your professional career in the social sector. In addition to the seminars at the university, we give you the opportunity to get to know the different areas of a social institution on an ongoing basis at your practice partner company. By alternating between theoretical and practical phases, you can apply your skills in a practical way during your degree. Our goals is to optimally prepare you for your professional future in the various fields of social work with authorities, social agencies, the private sector or social institutions.
Admission requirements
To apply for the Bachelor's degree course in Social Work | Dual, you need:
- General higher education entrance qualification (general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (if you do not have an academic degree yet, the last intermediate certificate is also sufficient)
- Alternatively, an academic degree as an educator, completed advanced continuing education (master craftsman or business economist) or completed professional training in the social field and at least three years of professional activity. - If necessary, successful completion of the selection procedure
- Curriculum vitae with current passport photo

The monthly fee remains the same throughout the entire period of study. The one-off enrolment fee is EUR 750
Non-EEA state without a permanent residence permit: Enrolment fee EUR 1,000 – you must pay tuition fees for a semester in advance.
