Technical Production Management – generalists for the entire process chain in the company

To manage global production networks or to guarantee efficient service management, you need to have a grounding in technology and business administration in order to think and act accordingly. The Master's degree course in Production Management at HRW trains generalists, who are first and foremost good technologists, to produce products for the markets of the future in an efficient and sustainable manner. The Master's degree course combines content from Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Manufacturing Engineering with aspects of Business Administration. Teaching covers the subjects of production planning and project management, international production organisation, and sales and marketing. After completing their degree, graduates will be able to understand a company as a system and be able to see it in a macroeconomic context. Key areas are Production Engineering and Service/Maintenance.

- Completion of a course of study leading to a vocational qualification with 210 credits and a minimum grade of 3.0
- upon completion of a six-semester course with 180 credits, additional bachelor-adequate achievements totalling 30 credits must be demonstrated by registration
- at least 99 credits must have been acquired from modules with mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering-related content
