Annotation

The Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, including the Master's thesis, leads to the internationally recognised degree "Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering" in only three semesters. The two specialisations "Product Development" and "Energy Technology" are offered as options.

In addition to classic lectures, problem- and project-oriented forms of teaching are used in particular. Building on the knowledge learned in the Bachelor's degree, the technical and scientific method of working is consolidated in a practical and research-oriented manner. The students acquire and deepen competencies in the areas of Construction, Manufacturing, Calculation, Simulation and Energy Technology as well as problem solving and presentation techniques.

A qualified certificate of academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering science

The ranking is based on the following criteria:
a. Average grade of the certificate of academic degree
b. Subject area of the qualifying certificate of academic degree
c. Stay abroad of at least one semester (study or practical semester) during the Bachelor's degree

The average grade improves by 0.2 grades for a first degree in Mechanical Engineering
The average grade improves by a further 0.1 grades if applicants can demonstrate a stay abroad of at least one semester (study or practical semester) during their Bachelor’s degree
