Annotation
Do you want to develop, manufacture, maintain or operate technical products and machines? The degree programme in Technical Engineering taught in English offers you a wide range of fields of expertise with a focus on traditional engineering disciplines. In addition, we equip you with skills in business administration, intercultural competence and languages, which will provide you with excellent career opportunities in an international environment.
The flexible combination of modules from different specialisations also allows you to tailor your studies to your interests. From the third semester onwards, you can choose from a wide range of potential courses. You are not only bound to the modules taught in English in the degree programme, but also have the opportunity to choose lectures in German from the study offer offered by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering.
A strong focus on practice is very important to us. For example, the lectures in many subjects are supplemented by various practicals in our modern and very well-equipped laboratories. The practical semester and the thesis take place in the last semester, in which no more lectures are scheduled. The long, continuous period you spend at a company offers you optimal opportunities for a successful start to your career.
Our Bachelor’s degree programme is also specifically aimed at international students proficient in the English language who want to obtain an engineering degree at a German university.

Applicants from abroad must provide proof of German language proficiency at A2 level and English language proficiency at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
