The Master’s degree course in Sound Art offers a forward-looking education for those who are interested in sound art, sound installations and sound research with particular reference to digital media and their implications. In contemporary focus areas, students develop individual concepts at the highest artistic level. In addition to pursuing independent artistic careers, graduates can work in the media sector or, for example, as soundscape designers in an industrial or museum context.

Admission to the Master’s degree course in Sound Art requires a first professionally qualifying degree, certificate of academic degree or an equivalent academic degree from Germany or abroad in the subject area Music, Media Art, Interactive Media, Acoustics or a related subject.
