Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the Master's course in Jazz include a certificate proving successful completion of the final examination
and award of one of the following:
- Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) (artistic or artistic-educational programme)
- Diplom Musician
- Diplom Music Teacher
- First state teaching examination (Gymnasium-level only - teaching subject Music only) [double subject and subject combination]
or
- An equivalent degree
It is not possible to change the instrumental main subject when continuing with the Master's course in Jazz,
but it is possible to change from a classical instrument to the corresponding jazz instrument
.
