Please note the application deadline before 15.01 due to the aptitude test for the summer semester or 15.07 for the winter semester.
It is recommended to commence studies in the winter semester.
The University Mainz offers the Bachelor's degree course starting in the fifth subject-related semester or the Master of Education exclusively for Teaching Qualification (Grammar Schools). Admission requirements

1. Passing the aptitude test.
2. Competitive athletes with proof of a team membership receive a bonus of 0.3 towards the points awarded in calculation of the qualification for admission to higher education (usually ‘Abitur’ (school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education)).
